Vehicle complexity balance

Multi cannons are definetly an issue, why not make module complexity rise with tier? I want to build a big cargo truck but it hits limits too easily, kill two birds with one stone and allow higher tier vehicles to be more functionally and structurally complex with smaller teams at high teir, and lower tier have a higher playercount with reduced funcitonal-part complexity In an ideal world player count wouldnt need to be reduced but performance is always the achiles heel, perhaps a way to further combine structural panels? or auto-join parts that meet at the symetry point?
